Jack Weatherford (a personal friend) wrote Genghis Khan, a must read and available nationwide. In light of America's economic state where Wall Street obviously controls our Congress (and us too), the Secessionist Movement, in my opinion is a bunch of quitters. Most all are Cheney/Bush-lite worshippers and would probably re-elect the same type.
We need a Genghis Khan and we also need China's Economic Discipline where most of America's Bankers would be jailed and some no doubt shot for not caring for the general welfare of the people.
Here is a bit of history regarding the Mongolian warriors that changed the world. The more Knowledge, (truthful, undistorted knowledge) the more you will take with you into that Spirit World Beyond where hopefully the Great Mystery allows only Real Truth to flow. In other words: If you are crooked down here, and some Absolutist know-it-all who doesn't seek knowledge, the more difficult you will fit in -up there despite what Pat Robertson, Sarah P., the $Televangelists$ and the $$Pope$$ want to tell you.

One last momentous influence was yet to be found, discovered, and imparted to the world however by descendants of these same peoples upon another continent and approximately four centuries later: Democracy! (Which came from the Iroquois).
